As promised, vivo today introduced a new member of the V30 series, the vivo V30e. The vivo V30e is power by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC and comes with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of storage. It comes preloaded with Android 14-based Funtouch OS 14, and vivo promises three Android version upgrades and four years of security patches.

The vivo’s V30e features a 6.78″ 120Hz Full HD+ curved AMOLED display with a max brightness of 1,300 nits and a fingerprint scanner below. It also features a centered punch-hole for a 50MP selfie camera with autofocus.

Around the rear, the vivo’s V30e has a circular camera island with a flash called “Smart Aura Light” and two cameras: a 50MP primary (Sony IMX882 with OIS) and an 8MP ultra wide (120° FOV). The primary and selfie cameras can both capture 4K videos, and the former “can also double up as a 50mm prime-focal length portrait lens which deploys a lossless-2x zoom-in.”

A 5,500-mAh battery powers the entire package and supports 44W rapid charging. The vivo V30e also features an IP64 rating, USB-C, and 5G connectivity.

The vivo V30e comes in Velvet Red and Silk Blue, with two memory options: 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB, priced at INR27,999 ($335/€315) and INR29,999 ($360/€335), respectively. The smartphone will be available in India starting May 9 through Vivo’s official Indian website, Flipkart, and retail outlets.
