Microsoft Rolls Out iPhone Integration to Windows 11

In an exciting update for Windows Insiders, Microsoft has introduced iPhone integration to the Start menu. This new feature allows iPhone users to access key information and features directly from their Windows 11 desktop.

Key Features of the Update

  • iPhone Battery Status: Quickly check your iPhone’s battery level from the Start menu.
  • Access Messages and Calls: View and manage your iPhone’s messages and calls directly from your Windows 11 desktop.
  • File Transfer Toggle: Easily enable or disable file transfers between your iPhone and Windows 11 device.

Requirements and Availability

This update is currently rolling out to Windows 11 users in the Dev and Beta channels, running the latest Insider Preview Build 4805 or higher. Additionally, users will need to have:

  • Phone Link version 1.24121.30.0 or higher
  • A PC that supports Bluetooth LE
  • An active Microsoft account

Microsoft expects to bring this feature to regular Windows 11 builds in the coming months.
