Apple's WWDC 2024 invites sent out, iOS 18 with AI in focus
Apple‘s annual developers conference (WWDC) will take place on June 10, and the corporation has already begun handing out invitations. The invite confirms previously announced details: the event will take place at Apple Park and begin at 10 a.m. local time (PDT).
The conference is expect to launch iOS 18 and demonstrate how Apple intends to incorporate AI into its products. We will also learn about the next MacOS, iPadOS, watchOS, and Vision OS updates.
Some devices will include generative AI, with Apple confirming that the M4-powered iPad Air and iPad Pro tablets would have improved machine-learning capabilities for AI-based applications.
iOS 18 is expect to be “one of the most significant overhauls in iOS history.” Safari, Photos, and Notes are expect to be AI-powered, along with improved Siri and smart recap alerts.
