The POCO F7 was released at the beginning of this week and comes out of the door. But how is it compared with other F7 models? Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge also received price deduction.
The POCO F7 is strengthened with Snapdragon 8S 4 and a large 6.500mAh battery. The chipset is very close to the performance of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in the F7 Pro, but the phone can heat up to unpleasant levels during long game sessions. 90W wired charging is supported.
POCO F7 PRO is 80 £ more than the vanilla model. It has a smaller screen (6.67 ”and 6.83”), but sharper (1440p+ and 1280p+). The battery is smaller in 6,000mah. Both phones have metal frames and IP68 ratings. Although 50+8MP camera installations seem the same at first glance, the Pro has a larger sensor (1/1.55 ”and 1/1.95”) and can record 8K videos (both can do 4K @ 60FPS, this is more important).
The POCO F7 Ultra is a flagship model that offers significant performance with Snapdragon 8 elite (but even shortened worse than average under constant load). Not only a chipset, but also a telephoto camera (50MP 1/2.76 ”sensor, 2.5x/60mm f/2.0 lens with OIS) and 32MP ultra -wide higher resolution.

Returning to Vanilla F7, the Poco X7 Pro is a less cheaper alternative. There is a smaller 6.67 ”screen and a smaller 6,000mAh battery (90W charging). Grade IP68/IP69, but the frame is plastic.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge was quite expensive in the launch, but good news for people who want thin and light phones, the price is already falling. You can get a 512GB model for £ 1,100 and if you have a prime or prime student subscription, you can remove it 100 £ 100.
Or you can only buy a Samsung Galaxy S25+. Galaxy S25+ etc. In our S25 EDGE comparison, we note that Plus has a better battery life, but the edge is more premium and offers comparable camera performance.
If you care about the camera, you should really look at the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra – if you want 512GB storage, it is 100 £ 100 more expensive. Ultra is much heavier (163g against 218G), but there are two more telephoto cameras than the edge (none of them). We have a detailed galaxy S25 EDGE for a more detailed look at the pros and cons.
